MEET HEATHER
A Las Vegas native and small business owner, Heather Brown knows the value of service, compassion, and accountability. She grew up in a military family, attended Western High School, and graduated from UNLV as a first-generation college student.
After working for high-profile organizations across the country
and internationally, including a national organization focused
on outreach to young professionals, Heather founded
StartUp Vegas to lift up communities across the Vegas Valley
by bringing more tech investment to other small businesses in
Clark County.
Now, Heather is running for Board of Regents to
strengthen our communities by ensuring higher education
in Nevada is affordable and accessible, with relentless
focus on excellence.
